Michigan

 
A couple of weeks ago we went to Michigan, where we moved from 4 years ago (I can't believe we have lived here 4 years) and visited our friends Jason and Michelle and their little girl Makayla. We had such a great time! I miss Michelle so much, it was great to spend time with them. We also got to spend some time with some other friends we have been missing too. Derek and I have really missed all the good food that is available there - not a whole lot of different kinds of foods here - so we made a list of things we wanted to eat while we were there (I know, get a life - right?!) and we got everything on our list - plus some great meals from Jason and Michelle. And spending time with Michelle was so fun! We discovered the Bare Essentials store - OMG!!! We went there twice for makeovers! and they even called me a few days ago to see how I liked my stuff! Good thing we don't live near that store - I could live there. The kids were so good for the looong ride too ;o) Can't wait to go back...

In other news Hazel got spade yesterday. I picked her up this morning and she is doing well. She needs to eat though her tummy is growling like crazy!! I'm sure she will back to her usual bratty self in no time...

Update on previous post - Likes:  to eat blocks of mouse poison. and run around the yard with it in her mouth so her owner has to chase her around while screaming at the top of her lungs.  and maybe panicking just a little.   Dislikes:  being given hydrogen peroxide to make her barf up said poison.    Also, is very good at sneaking downstairs and pooping while her soon to be previous owner is busy watching the Real Housewives of Orange County Reunion cleaning.  Please contact me at

Free to a good home. 1 - 5 month old shi tzu. Likes: digging holes, eating dog poop, ripping food out of children's hands, whining, barking, playing, pouting, chasing cats. Dislikes: being ignored when she is outside scratching on the door to come in, baths, hair dryers and being brushed. and it is only 10:30. my day just has to get better than this...

Oh dear, how long does it take before my boy will grow into his big boy teeth? And just why does he have to look so old? I think we better start our braces fund ;o)

Looksie who came to my house yesterday - only the sweetest little baby! and no she does not have a bruise on her forehead - it is my camera. Grrr.... Emma calls Charlotte "my baby Charlotte"! They were so cute together. They were sitting on the floor and Charlotte was just talking to Emma and touching her and looking at her. It was like she was really having a conversation! Look at those blue eyes. Ugh, when I saw Chantelle and Charlotte at my door - and saw those cute little piggies in Charlottes hair I just about died from baby cuteness ;o) I think Charlotte looks so much like my sister. I still can't believe she is a granny, te, he, he!!!! She will kill me for saying granny! We had a good time visiting and my dad came over too, Jack was sad he was at school and missed out.

on the farm

Pygmy goats and a mini donkey. This is what I really want! Now I guess the little goats get lonely so we will need 2 of them, but I think one donkey will do (for now)!!!! I would be doing Derek a favor - the goats would probably eat a lot of grass so he wouldn't have to mow as much. I am always putting the needs of others before my needs. I really think this is a great idea. Um, you don't need to mention this little idea to Derek either. He totally agrees with me.
