Yah, this is how I feel. All the time. It's the kids. I totally blame them! So this morning I got the e-mail I have been waiting for - Girl Scout cookies are in! $70.00 worth. Who ordered all those? Oh dear, I was going to start Weight Watchers today...
I have waited all my life (28 years) for this day - I braided my daughters hair for the first time! Emma looked so cute!
I think we need one of these little piggies! Now that we are down to 2 dogs again (Delbert went to doggie heaven Monday) I think we for sure need another animal. Derek - I just know that you will agree with me. How can we resist this cute little porker - te, he, he....Grandmas, if you truly love your grandkids you would get them one of these little mini pigs for Easter ;o) You don't need to mention it to Derek, he'll be just fine with it. In fact I asked him and he said it is a great idea! Yah, he said that. sure he did. Really he did.
Oh dear. We have a future hairdresser on our hands! I am watching my friends son today and Emma is so happy! I went into her room and this is what I found. She said she was putting his hair in piggie tails. Poor kid! She was also reading to him and wiping his nose. and forcing him to sit. and putting his feet up on the princess stool. There is no escape from her.
Jack made a sweet little note for his baby sister. On the only paper he could find. Perhaps I need to get some paper for him?
Since there was such a long break in my blogging I thought I'd show you some of my favorite pictures. Emma in her tutu on her 2nd birthday, I curled Em's hair in the next one (she looks so old), Jack with his fu man chu, Jack's first day of school at the bus stop, Emma at Thanksgiving (man was she posing!), Jack in the mud at a tractor pull, Emma with her "baby" Hazel, Jack with his new glasses, and with one of his creations. Love these kiddos.

Look! My technical advisor is home from work sick today, so together we were able to figure out this blog header - halleluia! 
Here is a little photo shoot we did this morning. I am no photographer (obviously!) but I am trying. This blog gets me to take more pictures so that's good. For some reason there is a dark spot on a lot of the pics, I promise my kids don't have bruises! I am not stupid enough to beat them in places that show! Just kidding, just kidding. maybe, sorta, kinda. Anyway, it is only 11:35 and I am now paying for giving them those big, beautiful suckers at 9:00 in the morning!!! They are bouncing off the walls...
Hello Lovah. I've missed you. I haven't seen you since the last time I had book club. You haven't changed. You still make me feel so good, like I can do anything. Like I can sing, and dance. and like my voice is not annoying and everyone really likes to hear me talk. all the time. about everything. I love the way you taste on my lips. I have to admit, I had forgotten about you. until a friend reminded me of you this week. So I sent Derek to get you. He likes the way you make me feel too. wink, wink. I am looking forward to our time together later this afternoon (yes I said afternoon!). When the kids are napping, we can sit down together for the first time in months. We need to catch up. I'll be looking forward to you all day....
Here is our newest addition - Hazel. I still can't believe I talked Derek into another dog!! I got her for my birthday. She was just 8 weeks in these pics but she is about 4 months old now. She is so sweet. Emma thinks Hazel is her little baby - she puts her in her baby beds. Poor Hazel!
Ok, sorry it has been so long! For all 5 of you that read this, I am going to be better about updating - I promise!! Look how big these kiddos are! Emma isn't a baby any more, boo-hoo;o( She loves her baby dolls, princesses, makeup and anything pink! She talks so much, her favorite word right now is "turds"! ut oh! She says "guess what's in my diaper? Tuwds!!!". Hope this passes soon! Jack is doing so good in Kindergarten. He loves school and is already reading! We have been so busy as usual. we got a new puppy too - just what we needed!! I will post pictures of her next.
